Hello, I’m Madeleine!

I am a senior Interior Architecture student at San Diego State University with a passion for the intersection between design and mental health. I am currently a part of an ongoing student led research project focused on how we can improve the outdoor study spaces in the Art and Design buildings at SDSU. Our goal is to promote collaboration and creativity while enhancing the mental health of students.

My time at SDSU has taught me valuable design skills such as space planning and concept development, as well as how to create important documents such as a request for proposal and written program. This year I have mastered AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape and Photoshop while continuing to build my skills in Illustrator, InDesign, Rhino and Revit.

My current goal is to join an interior design firm as an intern for summer 2024 in order to gain real life experience working with clients and further my technical skills prior to graduation.
